Cold Laser Therapy Sessions
Cold laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing and reduce pain in animals. It works by increasing blood flow, reducing inflammation, and promoting tissue repair, making it an adaptable supportive option for various conditions.
About
Importance of Nail Trims
Long nails adversely affect how the pet stands (posture) and how they walk (gate). It’s like curling your toes in scuba fins and walking around for a long time.
Long nails contribute to improper foot placement, the pet tripping or falling and pain/pressure on the toes. Long nails can also grow in to the paw pad if not cut to the proper length! Ouch! 😖
With cats and small critters, long nails get snagged and could cause permanent injury to the digit. Scratching posts only remove the cuticle around the nail for cats, it does not keep claws trimmed.
Zen Emotional State
I utilize calming energy, pheromones and a fear free approach to reduce anxiety and stress associated with nail trims and other services in the pets home environment. I also love to provide client education to strengthen the human/companion pet bond. ☯️
Knowledgeable and Trustworthy
When you live a busy life, it is hard to consistently provide the attention and care that your pets can demand. With 20+ years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technologist, being Fear Free Certified and a Reiki Practitioner, I am passionate about creating a calm, emotional space for you and your pet while performing a nail trim or other service.
My Goal
A pets emotional state can be affected by the energy they receive from their people, past negative associations to an experience or fear/anxiety of a trigger response. Creating a pawsitive experience for both the pet and their person is what I strive to achieve. Finding what works for both to reduce the fear, stress and anxiety associated with the service can take a little time, however once found, it's just using the same techniques consistently to reinforce a pawsitve experience.
